Although the Xavier Musketeers started the season off winning three of their first four games of the season they have struggled lately and probably should not get their hopes up looking deep into the big tournament in March.
The Musketeers do not look real impressive so far this year as they have an overall 12-8 record and would need to win at least 75-percent of the remainder of their season in order to make the tournament. Most teams that enter March Madness tournament or at least do well in it usually end their seasons with no more than 8-10 losses and even that is pushing it. (more…)

Tim Hardaway Jr., 6’6, Junior, Guard, Michigan Wolverines
Tim Hardaway Jr. is having a great season for the No. 1 ranked Michigan Wolverines entering the weekend averaging 15.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.6 APG, shooting 48% from the field and 41% from the three-point line in 20 games. The Wolverines have a 20-1 record and are tied for first place in the Big Ten with a 7-1 mark in conference play. Hardaway has scored in double-figures in 16 of 20 games, while scoring at least 20 points in five of those games. The Wolverines are 5-0 when he scores 20 and Hardaway is an explosive player who can light it up when he gets on a roll. St. Louis, MO – Jordair Jett came off the bench to score a game-high 19 points to help Saint Louis knock off No. 9 Butler, 75-58, Thursday for a victory over the highest-ranked foe to ever visit Chaifetz Arena. Dwayne Evans netted 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor for the Billikens (15-5, 4-2 A-10), who utilized a 24-4 first-half run and forced 23 turnovers en route to their third straight win. Rob Loe added 12 points, while Mike McCall Jr. donated nine on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc in the victory. (more…)
