The star of the Florida Gators incoming recruiting class is Chris Walker, a 6’10 versatile forward from Bonifay, Florida. Walker is the No. 6 prospect in the country according to Rivals.com. He chose the University of Florida over offers from Duke, Kansas, Louisville and North Carolina.

Walker is a forward who can run the floor, rebound well and has excellent length and skill for a young big man. He is the kind of young player that scouts and coaches love because of his seemingly infinite potential. He fits the mold of a prototype big man in today’s NBA.

Walker is a confident kid who has not been shy about his goal for the upcoming college basketball season. He announced his intentions to attend UF through a YouTube video. In the video, Walker said “I will be playing college basketball for the University of Florida. I will be teaming with Kasey Hill, and together we will be the best duo in college, and we will win a national championship.”
