A year ago expectations were super high for the North Carolina Tar Heels returning their starting five intact and rated No. 1 in the preseason polls. The Tar Heels fell one game short of the Final Four to Kansas in the Elite Eight. Coach Roy Williams must now replace his starting lineup with a new crop of talent. When you coach at North Carolina you can always expect to recruit top talent because playing at a storied program is an honor and privilege. Once again the Tar Heels landed four fantastic freshmen who should contribute in 2013.
USA Basketball’s 2012 Men’s U18 National Team Training Camp Roster Announced
Twenty-four players have accepted invitations to attend the 2012 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team Training camp June 5-12 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center (USOTC) in Colorado Springs, Colo., including one player with college experience and three players who represented the USA in the 2012 Nike Hoop Summit. The USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team committee issued the player invitations.
